Hello and a Happy New Year!
The blog has been hibernating for quite a while; in fact, a number of posts are in the making, but remain unfinished. And so I have decided to post photos when time doesn’t allow for more substantial writing.
In this photo: A slightly blurred view of Istanbul’s Süleymaniye Mosque and the Galata Bridge at night.
Quick answer to the question: When in Istanbul, should I visit the Blue Mosque? You should, but Süleymaniye is far more magnificent, less crowded and is easy to get to. Great views from the surrounding gardens are on offer, too.
May this year bring you everything you hope for, including views like this!
